DRIVER /SERVICE CHARGE/GRATUITY: At the discretion of your group. Gratuity is not included in your charter price but is greatly appreciated. Chartering Party is responsible for each driver’s lodging if hours of service exceed DOT regulations or charter is greater than 1 day of service. Driver’s gratuity is not included in the above indicated rate. There must be one room booked per driver. Drivers are not allowed to share rooms. PARKING/TOLL FEES: All Parking/Toll Fees will be the responsibility of the chartering party. CONFIRMATION: This pricing quote is guaranteed for 10 business days from the date of this confirmation. Coaches are booked and confirmed on a first come, first serve basis. Coaches are not confirmed/guaranteed until both signed contract and deposit are received by Coachlight Tours. CANCELLATION: Cancellation of service must be received in writing. 10% of the charter cost is required for deposit (non-refundable) 90% of the charter price is refundable if cancelled outside of 60 days prior to first day of service. MISC. There will be a 5% – 10% fee on all returned checks. A detailed written Itinerary is required for each trip at least 10 days prior to departure. MILES/HOURS: Coachlight Tours drivers must comply with all Department of Transportation rules and regulations concerning hours of service. Certain changes may be necessary in your itinerary to ensure compliance with the DOT. If miles or hours (depending on your quote) exceed those bid in your Contract, you will be subject to additional charges. In accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation 395.3, drivers are limited to: * 15 consecutive hours on duty in any one day. * Of this 15 hours, a maximum of 10 hours may be actual driving hours and 5 hours on duty not driving hours to include pre and post inspections. * Upon reaching a destination and the driver’s total hours have been used – the driver must have a minimum of eight (8) consecutive hours off before any service may be performed. * No motor carrier shall permit or require any driver to drive, nor shall any driver continue to drive having been on duty 60 hours in any 7 consecutive days or having been on duty 70 hours in any 8 consecutive days. For more detailed information regarding service hours, please call 912-721-2184. CLEANLINESS: Cleanliness of the motor coach is the responsibility of the customer. An adequate number of rest stops are usually included. No food, drink or gum is allowed on any coach unless prior approval has been arranged with Coachlight. Trips which include the consumption of food, drink (to include alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages) and coolers are subject to an additional $350.00 deposit refundable only after the extent of clean up is reported to Coachlight Tours and no additional costs are incurred. Refunds are processed through the office, not the driver. Any damage to the vehicle caused by the charter party will be charged by the carrier to the party or its agent. On extended motor coach charters, your driver will make every effort to have the coach as clean as possible and the restroom serviced as long as is allotted within the driver’s on-duty hours to perform this service and as not to interfere with the charter tour plans. COVID-19 PROCEDURES: As per the CDC guidelines for disinfecting equipment, Coachlight Tours has taken that direction to use a fogger/mister with the recommended solutions from the CDC. Our drivers will wear face mask until the social distancing has been released. Handrails are wiped with disinfectant and hand sanitizer is placed in the front and restroom of the coach. It is the responsibility of passengers to use all options to protect themselves when outside the coach and return to board.
